L'Ozio

We think that a holiday at our Agritourism should not be just a stay in a magnificent place, but also certain special moments to dedicate to contemplating and appreciation of the most important aspects of our life....and taking in consideration the rhythms of modern life..it is not little !

In Renaissance period the art was defined as the space between production and research.  A person being engaged in activity is free to choose whether to be acting in one of the ways, or another - or to wait for the moment to contemplate a new solution.

Speaking of which, at a certain point  we realize that an empty space remains.

A space that we cannot define  because there is no real work/ activity, neither research work (indirect activity) being done, but there is an empty space. This empty space we call Idleness (Ozio).

The idleness (Ozio) does not mean that nothing is being done: it is the appearance of quietness. In essence, it is an active tranquility, as exactly in this empty space between the work and the research a solution is being born. In the moment of idleness we encounter with this unforeseen thing; at the moment of the solution the idleness is, in fact, being interrupted. So, a circle results: work, freedom, idleness, solution in the work.....
