The olive grove

Our olive grove, extending on the downward hill, consists of 2200 biologically certified plants, some of which are secular.

From these exceptional plants we produce sublime biological olive oil (acidity level is almost zero), which we use at our restaurant and sell at our shop.

In order to provide our guests with the possibility to enjoy the beauty and harmony of this place,  we decided  to create two paths to walk on foot, which we called “The Walk of Love”, and “Meditation”.

Meditation
“L’ozio in collina” (“Idleness on the Hill”) – with its beautiful surrounding scenery and the silence interrupted only by the murmur of nature is an ideal place for meditation and relaxation of the body and mind through the practice of Yoga.
Among the secular olive trees we created a foot-path with 30 writings on wooden plates, citing certain phrases stimulating the reflection and thinking.

The Walk of Love
Walking hand in hand, probably towards the sunset, through the roses that we planted among the olive trees, is undoubtedly a very romantic experience.
According to the wishes of the interested guests, L’Ozio can offer the possibility to “adopt” an olive tree marking it with a wooden plate bearing a writing provided by the lovers. Then the olive tree becomes the guardian of their love.
